May 10th will be our Last
Activity held at Macey's
During this activity we will have 2
demonstrations, Zach and Courtney.
We will also start our Tie-Dyeing for
the Club T-shirt. Please DO NOT WEAR NICE CLOTHES to this activity.
Also, there will be instructions for taking home the shirts and
finishing the shirts. We will be adding a design to the back and
front of the shirts, but the tie-dye will be set
before we add the decals.
Our 4H Awesomes Sewing Camp (June 12, 13, 14) 1:00-4:00. We will be holding it at the USU extension (at the Health Department). During this meeting we will be ironing on the decals. ALSO There will be some prep work that needs to be done BEFORE camp. The most important item is for me to know: What Sewing Machine will you be using? However, I will list everything you will need here and there will be a check off list that will go home! There are a few of you brave folks who are going to try some harder projects. It will take you longer, so we are going to start earlier! I would like to meet with you prior to our camp so that you can finish the project you start.
If you are new to sewing- I would like to suggest attending the Sewing Camp that the extension is putting on May 29th and May 30th. They will be sewing a pillowcase and some other simple items. The Cost will be $5.00 for both days, and you will need to bring fabric for the pillow case. I will be helping with this activity, They would prefer for you to have an adult there to help you (because I am helping put on the camp I cannot be your adult that accompanies you, but you might consider a parent, grandparent, teenage brother/sister, neighbor) They do not have to be a great sewer, they only need to be able to help you understand instructions and use the sewing machine. Contact me for more information.
